Myanmar hands blogger 20-year prison sentence

He is only 28 when he is sentenced to be jailed for 20 years. And what he really did to be sentenced like this- is sharing his opinion on our mother land's situation and passing informations about our country's suffering inhuminity rulings of Juntas. His intellegence in Computer and Internet Communication serves him well to bypass the Junta-banned Proxies and ISPs. His eagerness on knowledge and information sharing among our Myanmar Bloggers is well-knowned. Yesterday, Juntas sentenced 20 years imprisonment on him. He is NAY PHONE LATT.
This is one of numerous tragedies sourcing from ruling Juntas in Myanmar. Because of them, many people cried for their family members. Because of them, many people lost their hopes for living their lives in peace and freedom. Because of them, many people have been emptied their souls. Why? Why do they(Juntas) think they have rights to do so? Why do they(Juntas) have power to do so? I am burnt with hate and bitterness to ruling Juntas while I was writing this post.

Many journalists were imprisoned because of their resonable expressions on truth. This picture is one of great journalists who was barred for 18 years and freed last month, Hantharwaddy U Win Tin. His smile behind bars represents his moral strength to survive that unfair, unlawfully imprisonment of Juntas. Whatever the acts for criminal law told, we all know Juntas' bitterness and fear to free and responsibly expressions. Any activities exposing the current situation in the uncovered words- is enormous enemy to Juntas. Many youth (either educated or uneducated) fleed from own mother land hoping to make some differences for their own families, their own country. Can we make any improvement by our shoulders carrying one bundle of basic necessities for our family and one iron chain fastening our legs at the same time? I hate people saying "People have the kind of government what they deserve". So, why do we keep our lives hanged by Juntas' rope? First, we lost our faith in our rights. Later, we lost our rights, too. Finally, we lost almost everything. We lost our loving and caring nature after suffering a long-term hopeless situation. I hate the fear that Juntas spreaded among us. I hate the careless bypass talkers, seeing nothing but their possessions, hearing nothing but their heart beating over luxorious wealth, feeling nothing but their own power existance.
Following post is from Burmese Bloggers Without Border (BBWOB) blog when we knew Nay Phone Latt had been arrested. Mahorgani posted it. And I have the same opinion on this article.

21 st century is running on its broadband internet line. We find our way out to freedom on this fiber optic line. This is our home away from home, Freedom without freedom.
Burma, our country is going nowhere. Even moving backwards to dead end. Why we should let it happen. We never ! ever !
For so many years, we did try our best with our blood. Whoever against the government, even with a whisper is risking his life.
In every layer of the society - students, lawyers, doctors, artists, farmers and even soldiers themselves are imprisoned just for their faith, their love for freedom, their search for justice.
Now , wicked hands are coming to bloggers. Burmese blogger, Nay Phone Latt, who just disappeared from his way with no clues. He dedicated his time in writings and community works. He simply love his country like everyone else. He might trying his bits of task to figure out Democracy.
Where he is now? Nobody knows except those who took him. What an unfair and terrible situation happening in Burma. Big brothers are everywhere. Nightmare is in everybody. Uncertainty is in every corner.
But we believe that Hope is somewhere very near. We need to pull back our country from this dark hole with the strength of our people.
Where our people have been ?
Give back our people.
Give back our Monks
Give back our Nuns
Give back our lawyers.
Give back our doctors.
Give back our students.
Give back our farmers.
Give back our housewives
Give back our artists.
Give back our poets.
Give back our authors.
Give back our bloggers.
Give Nay Phone Latt Back.

The power of Ads

Once you see this Ads, you'll see the exact message of agency.

I think, if I were the middle kid in that ads, I'll rush to the agency. The power of advertisement was so penetrate that I started to doubt my status at my career though I'm almost sure the right one for the present job.

Then, here comes the crazy idea. What is the right place, indeed? Does it mean your personality is the most suitable for that specific nature of job? Or the company/organization need you seriously that you should not leave them though you think you should be in somewhere else?

Doing things right is what you can do knowing yourself what you are doing. Doing right things is more difficult, at least for me. Right thing's meaning can't be explained or determined unless you find options and their consequences. And consequences are exposed only after option has been chosen. Then, how can we define or measure the "right things"?

Generally, right things have varieties. From keeping own life's freedom and privacy without disturbing others'....... to organizational coorporative activities. When we are becoming part of an organization, we need to tolerate our privacy. This may cause some effects on our intuitive system. So, sometimes you may be doing right things when other people have some seriously doing things right there.

So, for me, "doing right things" may need to tolerate with other and "doing things right" needs not less tolerance than the first one. And yet, I prefer "doing things right" than "doing right things". I like to decide myself and get responsibility of it.

This is just a good advertisement in a daily life, but I think my thoughts go too far.........

Thanks alot for the resourceful RogerS, my blogger friend.

Memorial of Che Guevara, The Haj of Leon Uris, and Sense of Freedom

Yesterday, 9th October is the date of Che Guevara's Approved Death. People all over the world (including our Asian people) heard about him, his movements to give birth revolutionized countries, and like other heroes, his death. The world's materialized developments are in such a rocket-speed, and yet, somehow we know him, at least we thought we know him. Why?

I hereby submit the links providing the Times’ list of 100 most influencing people on the world telling about Che Guevara, the novel of Leon Uris; The Haj, and the documentry about Che Guevara’s biography.

Did I like Che? Did I admire his Marxist people revolutionaries and achievements? No. I’m not prefering armed victory. But I like his undaunted, clear and sharp ideas. His practical way to approach community’s pain in those days. He could have weakness and mistakes which every human being would have. But I like him because of his passion in Freedom and Socialism. I admire him because of his do-as-I-do spirit.

At that exact period, a novel about Isreal-Palestine conflict; The Haj by Leon Uris come across my thoughts. Jews from all over the world came and built Isreal on “the promised land” and the palestanians have no choice but to be the enemy with invaders (settlers in other words). Why did that invasion and who did that option are the cases to be discussed by political prophets and international relationship experts. That explosive is still active and many experts report and analyze about it’s reasons. The only thing I’ve thought about was Jew’s passion on the ground, survival spirit. Amongst the author’s many efforts, those Jews’ opinion in that period is the most attractive fact on me.

To stand among thousands enemy, we need friends. But if we, ourselves can’t effort strength to stand, what will be result? Whatever and whoever help us, we need to stand firmly on our own ground first and we need morale strength to do so.

Che Guevara’s opinion and that of Jews’ are completely out of concern, I suppose so. Che was the leader for revolutions where the enemy of people are unreliable, selfish governments. He was the friend for rebillions and enemy for monarchies and rulers of cruelity. Jews’ concern is Land-for-Stand, to survive, to be a citizen of a country like most of the world’s people are. They gathered from all over the world, sacrificed all their possessions and their lives in that land’s establishment. They stand on their desire than on their leadership. All people have one thought and stand on that thought only. They need only strong desiration.

These two cases seem opposite to each other. And yet, they overwhelmed my thoughts about my motherland’s refugies and rebillions on Juntas.

There are many people who left our country for building up their own lives there. Some are trying and some have been settled. Without strong financial background as in Jews’ case, we, offsprings of mother Myanmar, once have own land and have to abandone it. Unlike Palestanians, the surpressing force didn’t come from different country, different people, but from the same people of same roots, same mother land. Palestinians’ bitterness on Isrealies can be empathize, for myself, thinking of my own land and my country.

Myanmar student’s army at Thailand Border and India Borders have the same objective: to make Juntas know themselves what they deserve. I wish for a while, unintentionally, if Che Guevara is still alive and knows our struggles with Juntas, we would not be in failure for such a long time. My inner mind responsed instantly that the hands holding rifles should be strong enough to squeeze the trigger. Without strength to stand the backward force of a gun, who could against the completely armed force? We can try to pass each day facing daily struggles however the juntas are ruling longer. That’s what we could, we did do along this dark age. Our people’s recognizing resistance to troubles make us used to with this cruel rulers.

We are used to with losing our own human rights that we forget the fact of ownership for those rights; freedom of thinking, speaking, writing, expressing our own opinions. Till we couldn’t bear responsibilities of that rights, basic human rights. Now, the situations are worse that we have to oppose Juntas for getting back our rights. With this weak body and mind, how could we stand on this land? We’ve been patient because we’ve been afraid of armed force, then when will be the end? Will this freedom be achieved with breaking point patience?

At least, we can agree to disagree, even in the case of looking for the spirit of freedom in oneself. Let’s start thinking freely!

Buddha and His Way-completely out of a "bar" Continued from Previous Post.

Firstly, please be accepted my apologies for keeping my continuation for such a long period. This is the continued part of the previous one.

Number 1: Buddhism is one of religions, encouraging people to find truth and peace freely; freedom-loving nature.

Many people keep thinking of day-to-day routine's stress. Yes, those everyday problems are really practical issues that we could not simply step-aside. We need help, (at least we hope -if we could get some helps from whoever it is) along our life-term. When we couldn't get help from outside, we make our inner mind tired and exhausted from what it can't provide solution out of thin air.

I'm also unfair to myself, I thought. I seek my own existence while I'm depending other's approval. Comparison is unavoidable side-effect I got from that mission. Buddha's way to find oneself depends on oneself. He didn't suggest to rely on other. The person who lies other cannot lie his own mind, right? His way is to true on thyself and to know thyself, what is good and what is bad. Easy, do you think? You ain't that easy to do those, actually.

As far as I tried myself, I found an awkward situation: you can be alone while you're among your loving people. I thought many people would feel like me because I'm ordinary person like others. Buddha's way is not depend on who you want to be, just to know how you'll make yourself good. So, his teaching is for finding and making own way, not for hiding from present environment.

Thinking of a peaceful image in your bar? It's not peace at all, in that environment. Bar is for making yourself some fun out of simulation surrounding. Peace is not around you, it's an imaginary calm and emotional comfort you can get from quiet, warm, caring- BAR!

This is first improper representing Buddha Image as a logo of a Bar and inside it.

One laptop for every Niuean child

This was very interesting news for me, as I came from value-on-education family. For me, the childhood was as fun, playful, mischevous and friendly as all other child should have. Educational raising of my parents is exception because they allow me to build my dream by myself; they never give me stress like most of other friends' parents do. I didn't notice it at first. When I knew my friend's parents are scolding their sons/daughters of getting low rank or making mistakes in exams, I felt I'm odd one out of friends. My parents wanted me to know what I've done, what I've got, and what I really wanted. It was an amazing thing for a primary kid's environment.

In developing countries like our motherland, higher education is the way out of poverty for a low earning family. Many parents urges their children to learn as much as (sometimes more than) they could chew so that they could earn more money when they grow up. And for business-running family, they want to be proud of their children's achievements. And their business might penetrate and expand higher-ranked market if they got higher achievements along their educational path. (Many parents believe so.) That's why I want to spot out my parents' behavior on me.

I have grown old in small towns (more than 4 towns in 12 years), where the most updated knowledge resource is Radio and Newspaper. And States-run papers are not reliable on news. The only way to know about the world was listening a World Service Radio Broadcasting. I prefer reading books and listening radio programmes while most of my friends tried hard to get some playing periods among parents' tight learning schedule. When I want to play outdoor games, I had to be extremely patient, knowing my friends have found many more difficulties than me.

As an ordinary kid, I have learnt, noted and (one more point than other is) thought like other kids might do. After 10 years fading, I found myself in the place some distance away from what I've wanted to be. I'm not satisfy myself at all, thinking many "if"s and "then". If I get the chance to learn in developed environment, if I get the opportunity to keep in touch with modern technologies, and so on. Now, I'm in faster developing environment than my childhood days. What's the difference? I could pick up my learning in my career than I've hoped. I could pace up like others (sometimes faster than others) to understand some modern technological issues. I found myself bold enough to face those all as my first BBC World Service Radio Broadcasting Lesson.
Technological issues are useful for everyone, I know. But if you don't have that chance, should you be worry terribly? For me, whatever you've got can be a good foundation only if you keeping building on that. Environmental supports help you to get what you want in faster and easier way, the most important generator is yourself.

The news article mentioned below informed about technical supporting to basic education in a tiny Asia-Pacific country. The necessities are provided, but activities must be done by kids, themselves. Let's see what they get!
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/technology/7576573.stm

The One Laptop Per Child programme has lived up to its name in the tiny South Pacific nation of Niue, where 100% of children now have one.
500 of the programme's XO laptops were distributed this week to primary and high school students.

The rugged, waterproof laptops have been designed as a cheap way to bring the internet to children in the developing world.

There are 4500 more laptops earmarked for the Pacific region as a whole.

It is not the first time that Niue has proven to be ahead of the technological curve; in 2003, it became the first territory to offer free wireless internet to all its inhabitants.
Besides instant wireless websurfing, the schoolchildren will also be able to communicate with each other within a radius of one kilometre without going online.
Secretariat of the Pacific Community director general Jimmie Rodgers was quoted by the AFP news wire as saying that the laptops "have the potential to revolutionise education in ways that are difficult to imagine."
Originally the brainchild of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's Media Laboratory, the effort has grown to garner the support of large corporations, including Google.

Dear all, this world is not belong to anyone, any religion or any coorperation. This is the first thing I want to make sure before continuing talk about my post. And, as far as I remember, all human being have rights to think, talk and discuss about their own opinion on anything-freely, as long as their own freedom don't disturb others. This is humans right.
I'm a Buddhist, and I'm still trying to follow the Lord Buddha's quotes, not totally successful. This post is very dangerous in topic, relating religion, business, and human rights. So, I'm finding difficulties in posting this article. I've tried to get others' opinion on that topic, but THIS ARTICLE IS MY OWN RESPONSIBILITY. Now, I'm going to discuss about my topic in following facts:
Number 1: Buddhism is one of religions, encouraging people to find truth and peace freely; freedom-loving nature.
Number 2: Buddha is not a God. Buddha is the person who had found enlightenment on his own way and shown that path who wants to find it.
Number 3: Buddha's teaching are not for hiding and solving one's fear, but for finding ways to live and face with it.
Number 4: For a Buddhist, Buddha statue means not only symbol of enlightenment, but also most admirable (Great Great) human being on earth for his showing way to find enlightenment.
Number 5: For a person who want to think and live freely and peacefully along his life, Buddhism is a philosophy of freedom.
Number 6: Buddhism is a religion of freedom and it doesn't mean any bussiness can make own benifits from Buddhism and its symbol of enlightenment.
Detail will be discussed sooner.

Will Myanmar awaken US?

After reading this article, I don't have any more words left to say. I'm myanmar, yes, once I've honored with those words. Now, grace of my mother land is stained, stained with blood of people. And yet, I AM proud of being one of creative, resourceful myanmar. I'd love to give myself courages, and strengths to survive and helps other to survive, too.

If you know the date of your life end...

"Hello friend, if I say one thing, please don't feel sorry: "We don't need anything, we need your strength." Yes, we need you, we need your emotional flame." These words are told to one of my old friend while she felt deep hurt about her critical situation. We (the friend and me) are not young and free to do what we've dreamt, if you ask me. But everyone can have particular dreams, right? Time and tide wait for no men, then if your life ends in no time, what will you do about your dream?
One Myanmar famous astrologer Mr. Min Thein Kha has died, but earlier than he'd calculated. People can know their date of end, but I don't think they might be sure of other's date. In my native town, Shwedaung, I've known about "Boe-daw", I've been there many times, asking many things. Yes, he told my mom will not live longer than that year, if she live passed that period, she would have very bad health status, that status would be going on for a long time. But it won't make my heart any good feeling, you see? I've prepared to face that tragedy, but it can't help to stop my sorrow. So, knowing the date of end, will it help in your dream-building process? No way. Please stand firm on your heart. I hope I won't make your head ache because I don't know much words in English to tell you clearer.

Actually, we need union.
Unity is the strength, we've talked that much.
But, we don't have united spirit, team spirit.
We need love and union to save Burma. We need both.
People talk much about our country.
And yet, we use our mind only in calculating the earning every day.
Yes, we need money, for our individual, for our family, for our relatives, for our survival.......... but should it be only thing to live with?
Sometimes, I'm ashamed, for myself, for my friends, for my country and my people. I accept the truth: we need attitudes revolution.
I admire Jews from Israel. They flew from all around the world, with all effort they've built up all along their lives, to build the new country "Israel".

Burmese still struggling after cyclone
By Nga Pham BBC News

It has been three months since Cyclone Nargis struck Burma, leaving 130,000 people dead and hundreds of thousands homeless.
On a covert trip to the Irrawaddy Delta region, I found many of the survivors still in need, and the regime still suspicious of foreigners.
Recently, the government started letting aid workers in, but foreign tourists and journalists are still not allowed to visit the affected areas.
I had been warned by my Burmese colleagues that it would be very difficult to move around Burma, and I had to be aware of the many layers of security designed to keep a close eye on visiting foreign nationals.
My plan was to fly to Rangoon, then to hire someone who would be willing to accompany me to the Irrawaddy region.
I would be posing as a Burmese woman to avoid unnecessary attention. It turned out to be more difficult than I thought.
I got a traditional Burmese dress, the longyi. I was also prepared to smear myself with the sunscreen powder you see most Burmese women wearing on their faces.
But finding someone who would go with me was tricky, partly because I had to be careful not to put anyone in danger.
Many people were punished by the regime after the cyclone for helping foreign journalists, or simply because they were spotted travelling with journalists.
Via some contacts, I found a guide who agreed to go with me, on the condition that if he saw any sign of danger at all, we would immediately make our way back.
Temporary huts
We left Rangoon early in the morning. We took the ferry cross the Yangon river, swollen, dark and muddy with monsoon rains.
Along the road down into the Irrawaddy region, houses had been repaired, trees had been cut and replanted, pagodas repainted. Paddy fields were covered in the green of the new crop.
However, it was still possible to tell where the cyclone hit, from the pockets of temporary huts scattered across the region.
Most of the huts I saw did not have proper roofs but were covered with plastic sheets provided by international agencies.
Some of the victims were sitting in the mud. As it is the rainy season, it rains almost daily and vast areas are still flooded.
My guide told me that local people have been warned by the authorities not to speak to foreigners and it took us a while to find someone who agreed to have a chat.
Mr Naing Win is a farmer whose family lost almost everything in the cyclone. I found him living with his wife and two children in a small hut.
"The cyclone struck at night, when we were sleeping," he said.
"I saw houses collapsing around my house. Then the rain started pouring down through the roof, which by that time was heavily damaged."
He had nowhere to go, he said, so he simply held a child in each of his arms and stood inside what was left of the house until dawn broke.
"Now we stay in this hut with nothing inside," said Mr Naing. "The children cough all the time because it is so damp.
"I would like to have somewhere better, more solid for my family to stay. But in order to build a proper house, we'd need at least 300,000 kyat ($300) and I don't think we'll ever have the money."

The government has closed refugee camps in an attempt to prove that everything has returned to normal.
The Paritta Monastery in Kyauktan, near Rangoon, used to host some 250 families. Now, according to head monk U Pyinya Wanttha, they are all gone.
"About a month ago, the government came here and demanded that all the refugees go back to where they were from and they are now living in the temporary shelters that they've built from bamboos and pieces of wood," he told me.
He said the biggest problem now was to provide the victims with proper shelters, as nobody has any money left. And of course they need food, he added, because it will be some time before the new harvest.
"Kind people have been donating instant noodles and dry foodstuffs which we transfer to the refugees," said U Pyinya Wanttha. "But it is clearly not enough."
Survivors have complained that aid from the government has been scarce.
International charities warn that lack of food could affect millions. Limited access to clean water and unhygienic living conditions are other concerns.
Thu Ya, a local businessman who runs a private relief campaign in the Irrawaddy Delta, said the victims urgently needed help - particularly those in remote areas.
It is monsoon season and they are at risk contracting dangerous illnesses such as malaria, diarrhoea and lung diseases.
Military checkpoints
The United Nations has urged the Burmese government to assure continued access to remote communities, particularly for international non-governmental organisation partners.
On the way into Irrawaddy region, I saw a number of premises emblazoned with agencies' names, such as Save the Children and Care, but did not see any foreign staff inside.
What I did see, in the space of three hours, were six or seven military checkpoints.
We had to beat a hasty retreat when my guide spotted a large military checkpoint ahead of us, where he said we would be stopped and searched.
A recent joint assessment by Asean, the UN and the Burmese government estimates that a further $1bn is needed for relief and reconstruction work in the country after Cyclone Nargis.
But international agencies like Save the Children are worried that since the spotlight seems to have turned away from Burma, it will be impossible to get sufficient funding.

New quake hits Chinese province

An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.0 has struck Sichuan province in China, the US Geological Survey says.

The quake struck just before 1800 (1000 GMT), 48km (30 miles) north-west of Guangyuan city, and occurred at a depth of 10km (6.2 miles), the agency said.
No injuries have been reported from the scene. In May, about 70,000 people died when an 7.9 magnitude earthquake struck Sichuan province. Since then, thousands of aftershocks have rattled the region.
The epicentre of Tuesday's earthquake was some 1,253km (778 miles) south-west of the Chinese capital, Beijing, where the Olympic Games are due to begin on Friday.

The quake came a few hours after the Olympic torch was paraded through Sichuan's provincial capital, Chengdu, the last leg of its journey before it returns to Beijing for the opening ceremony.
The state media agency Xinhua said the tremors were felt in Chengdu.
Major reconstruction efforts have been under way in Sichuan province since the 12 May earthquake left about five million people homeless.
Well, come to think of it. Singapore The Straits Times newspaper had named Asia's Twin Tragedies
in its May 17, 2008 issue; China's Earth Quake vs. Myanmar Cyclone Nargis. I've shared it here:
Sincerely, I want to hear your opinion on this post. I've collected every news on this topic from Google's Alert. I'll go on posting the two tragedies and their consequences.

Life is Beautiful vs. Your Life will no longer be Beautiful

This information was sent to me via e-mail from one of my friend. And enough to get shocked, I've posted the power point presentation about "Life is beautiful", thinking values of Life. And sure enough, this power point presentation can be seen right in my blog, you don't need to download it (if you don't want a copy). I'm sure the presentation I've posted is not a virus and have some point to share.

Anyway, I'd like to suggest all reader to share the link of posted websites/ sharespace/ blogs, instead of sharing presentation file directly, which might cause misunderstanding and harm to each other.

The e-mailed message is as follows:

Please Be Extremely Careful especially if using internet mail such as Yahoo, Hotmail, AOL and so on. This information arrived this morning direct from both Microsoft and Norton.. Please send it to everybody you know who has access to the Internet.

You may receive an apparently harmless email with a Power Point presentation 'Life is beautiful.' If you receive it DO NOT OPEN THE FILE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES , and delete it immediately. If you open this file, a message will appear on your screen saying: 'It is too late now, your life is no longer beautiful.' Subsequently you will LOSE EVERYTHING IN YOUR PC and the person who sent it to you will gain access to your name, e-mail and password.

This is a new virus which started to circulate on Saturday afternoon.. AOL has already confirmed the severity, and the antivirus software's are not capable of destroying it. The virus has been created by a hacker who calls himself 'life owner.'

PLEASE SEND A COPY OF THIS EMAIL TO ALL YOUR FRIENDS and ask them to PASS IT ON IMMEDIATELY

Animator Vs. Animation

This animation was forwarded to me via email from one of my friend. I'm afraid I can't show it here, right now, because I'm not familier with Adobe Flash Player software. The abstract about that animation is "man-make trouble". We tried to create and control technical developments. We find more and more applications for one invention every day. And it might have other side effects which we didn't notice at first. When we tried to control what we've done, we find many problems (at first, we made them ourselves!). We improved our communication system (from emotional expression on face to Internet communication nowadays), and yet hackers find their application using that communication! In this way, we start our endless war of two halves, i.e., every man has two halves to make out one trueself; outer vs. inner, self-oriented mood vs. caring-and-loving nature, and so on. When we could mix out successfully, we upgraded our self-control system. When one of our halves find out another way, another half starts its own discovery.......... So, have your say please, do you love your war between your two halves?

Before marriage....

He: Yes. At last. It was so hard to wait.

She: Do you want me to leave?

He: No! Don't even think about it.

She: Do you love me?

He: Of course! Over and over!

She: Have you ever cheated on me?

He: No! Why are you even asking?

She: Will you kiss me?

He: Every chance I get.

She: Will you hit me?

He: Are you crazy! I'm not that kind of person!

She: Can I trust you?

He: Yes.

She: Darling!

We've told many times about "sometimes". Sometimes, we've got many things to care. Sometimes, we make many mistakes. Sometimes, we do great things. Sometimes, we forget many things. Then, how do we do things we love? Rare. Occasionally. We'd rather do what we love to than what we have to. Do we love ourselves really? Yes, of course. We make many excuses our inner mind that our physical manners' carelessness. Than, the hurt comes from inner mind punishes us for that excuses. That's simple. We do "sometimes", but it effects "always" to us.

When the siren goes: Radio New Zealand's featured Discovery

In these days, we are facing more and more natural disaster and our physical and moral courages decrease with time. So, let's find some facts and heal ourselves for a shortwhile. Hold on! Click: http://www.radionz.co.nz/specialfeatures/whenthesirengoes

Really natural disasters across the oceans

What does mother nature want us to give her in return of those punishments? Emvironment Agencies and Experts may say this is the consequence of our human beings' carelessness on global warming. Anyway, who else on earth could control the global changes? The slightest changes can make differences. In chinese proverb, "Single grain of rice can tip the scale".

Funny or Furious

Do you think this is funny? Do you really feel the intimate relationship in this way? May be the technological development can bring his voice, his face, his response, and even his touch (later in the future). But we can't buy the time to share together. We can't hug each other. We can't lean on each other. We can only chat, changing words, not our thoughts. Words cannot represent our feelings and thoughts like our eyes. Technical improvements also demand high technical requirements. High tide of material requirements pushes us to squeeze everything from our mental resources. I wish we, people in love, could survive the distance between each other.

Glad for what we've had!

A blind boy sat on the steps of a building with a hat by his feet. He held up a sign which said: "I am blind, please help." There were only a few coins in the hat.
A man was walking by. He took a few coins from his pocket and dropped them into the hat. He then took the sign, turned it around, and wrote some words.

He put the sign back so that everyone who walked by would see the new words. Soon the hat began to fill up. A lot more people were giving money to the blind boy. That afternoon the man who had changed the sign came to see how things were. The boy recognized his footsteps and asked, "Were you the one who changed my sign this morning? What did you write?"

The man said, "I only wrote the truth. I said what you said but in a different way." What he had written was: "Today is a beautiful day and I cannot see it." Do you think the first sign and the second sign were saying the same thing? Of course both signs told people the boy was blind. But the first sign simply said the boy was blind. The second sign told people they were so lucky that they were not blind. Should we be surprised that the second sign was more effective?
Moral of the Story: Be thankful for what you have. Be creative. Be innovative. Think differently and positively. Invite others towards good with wisdom. Live life with no excuse and love with no regrets. When life gives you a 100 reasons to cry, show life that you have 1000 reasons to smile. Face your past without regret. Handle your present with confidence. Prepare for the future without fear. Keep the faith and drop the fear. Great men say, "Life has to be an incessant process of repair and reconstruction, of discarding evil and developing goodness…. In the journey of life, if you want to travel without fear, you must have the ticket of a good conscience."

Doctors-without-border (Médecins Sans Frontiéres)

To read more:

Médecins Sans Frontiéres (Doctors without Borders) is one of International NGO working with tighten limitations set by SPDC in myanmar. Comparing with basic needs from other countries they've been working for, Myanmar is the country of most difficult to understand. May be I also cannot understand in many times. Though pressures and limitations are tighten after day to day, time to time, people still can stand. When or how the trigger will start? I don't know. Just hope we can survive.

Thoughts killing Doing

So far, I can't define meanings of life. different meanings will emerge from people, if you ask me, don't think about time schedule in every free time.

My father is a very old man, you know, his writing and reading is now in amazing rate. Just a few hour, I think not more than 2 hours daily, he does what he wanted to. His eyes and back don't allow him to read and write as long as he wanted to. He doesn't think to finish his work in tight frame, instead, he works in a period he found. His love in reading and writing is not less than ours love in art, if I say so. I don't know how to create a free time, but I think I know how to use if I find.

I'll try to present more fun pages to you, hoping you'll find some creative thinking and art in my forwarded messages. I admit I don't know about art as much as you, but only thing I think I can help you now is this way. Sometimes, I couldn't find any way out of current situation, yes, the book of Sayadaw U Jotika (the free mind) makes me sometimes comfort, sometimes restless, sometimes tired and exhausted, and yet, it also makes me tougher than ever. I don't know how other people will say on my advice, but my choice is to find myself in my own times. Save your energy! Don't kill your energies in thinking about meaning. Sometimes, doing is better than thinking. Doing without thinking is not good and thinking without doing is not better than that. Your exhaust and tiredness comes from your mind, not from your body, I'm worried more for one's mental comfort. Mind yourself, if you ask me. Actually, I want to write down in Myanmar. I don't know how I can post letter in Myanmar Font here, so, please read this post. I hope my choice of words won't make your head ache.

Just Thoughts................... But..................

Just thoughts,
But………………………………

Once, I’ve got very complicated thoughts. Thoughts what I’d like to be, what I’d have done, what could I do, what will future hold in store for me, sort of things like that. Thoughts are thoughts, indeed. But much like a well-stored wine, thoughts are more and more intense day by days. That’s what people’s brain can do. How amazing! Technology helps us store important data without disturbing our memory yet no time and space are added for intensity.
Yes, I like wine. Fine wine can give you content and fullness for getting time of your life. Well-stored thoughts might have been lost for years, without much care. Time and situations make our days rush and busy. Where’s my dream, where have I dropped my treasures, treasures of most valuable things from me, myself? Yes, I miss my wine cellar. Some bottles are upside-down, some are smart but stronger then before. So, what should I do?
The intensity of thoughts, strange factor and taste in life, makes us hot, pleased, smoothed or whatsoever you might has felt. Some thoughts are bitter and we tried not to taste, but how can we avoid them without trying and confirming? Bitter experiences also make us upset. Then take a break and try for tiny bit of happy moment. Like a gulp of special-reserved whiskey, sweet memories will warmth you from tip of your hair to your toes.
Just thoughts, but they have enormous powers you can’t imagine……….
